Abstract:In this paper, the steady state and dynamic behavior of the F-T fixed-bed catalytic reactor were discussed. An investigation has been made on the impact of the operation conditions on the steady state behavior of the reactor. A study was made on the reactor dynamic behavior for step changes in the feed temperature, fluid rate and the wall temperature.
