| Abstract: | Summary Local a.e. solutions to a free boundary (Stefan) problem for a quasilinear hyperbolic system of functional PDE's of first order in two independent variables and diagonal form are investigated. The formulation includes retarded arguments and hereditary Volterra terms. |
