Tunneling spectroscopic study of the electronic structure in TTF-TCNQ single crystals

Abstract:The electronic structure near the Fermi-level in a TTF-TCNQ single crystal was experimentally determined using a tunneling spectroscopical technique. It was found that the electronic state-density at the Fermi-level in a TTF-TCNQ crystal is non-zero at room temperature, and this fact is consistent with its metallic nature.
