| Abstract: | A cyclocondensation reaction of N-benzoyl- and arenesulfonylimines of methyl trifluoropyruvate with acetylacetone was studied, which led to the formation of 3-substituted 4-acetyl-5-methyl-2-oxo-3-trifluoromethyl-2,3-dihydrofurans. |
