| Abstract: | Experimental and numerical investigations are realized to show the impact of the number of ASE-filters on the S-band gain of an erbium doped fiber. Gain as a function of (number of filters, filter ASE-isolation) is studied to optimize the S-band amplifier by using ASE-isolation tunable all-fiber filters. |
