Negative refractive index and anomalous dispersion |

| Abstract: | Media with negative index of refraction are discussed briefly within Sellmeier model. In particular, dispersion of light waves is found to be anomalous and the corresponding coefficient of material dispersion is found to be negative. In addition, the group index becomes negative. |
