Abstract:Novel 2-thiohydantoin derivatives were synthesized,and the structures of the title compounds were confirmed by ~(1)H NMR,~(13)C NMR,and IR.The preliminary biological tests of the title compounds were carried out.The structure-activity relationship was analyzed from structure characteristic and substituent effect.The results show that 5-methyl-2-thiohydantoin derivatives exhibit higher biological activity than those without(5-methyl).The maximum inhibiting rate is 56.5%(sprout) and 53.8%(root).2-Thiohydantoin derivatives can be made into novel pesticide precursor compounds.
