| Abstract: | After the big success of the first GISAXS workshop in 2005, HASYLAB/DESY hosted the “2nd GISAXS Workshop 2007” in Hamburg, Germany, from May 9 to 11, 2007. GISAXS stands for Grazing Incidence Small Angle X-ray Scattering, a powerful surface sensitive technique to observe structures on multiple length scales, ranging from some nanometers to up to several micrometers. Organized by R. Gehrke and S.V. Roth from HASYLAB and P. Müller-Buschbaum from Technical University Munich, the workshop attracted more than 100 participants from more than 20 countries, making up a very exciting and stimulating atmosphere with invited keynote lectures, two sessions with more than 50 contributed posters, and practical training including real data acquisition at HASYLAB beamline BW4 1 Roth, S.
