| Abstract: | Abstract Electrical resistance measurements have been performed on ZrS2, ZrSe2, and ZrSSe single crystals grown by Iodine vapour transport technique in the pressure range 10 kilobar to 80 kilobar (1 GPa-8GPa). It is observed that all these crystals show a decrease in resistance with increase in pressure. The results have been discussed on the basis of energy band. |
