Laboratory Bounds for the Cosmological Term Gradient

Effects of a spatially variable cosmologicalterm on the equation of motion are investigated, and itshown that these lead to density-dependentaccelerations. Using known data it is shown that thegradient of the cosmological term is bounded byapproximately 10^-59 cm^-3. Effectsof variable G are also discussed.
