Abstract: | The differential cross section of the28Si(d,p)29Si reaction at deuteron energy 3·22 MeV has been measured and analyzed including transitions to final states in29Si up to the 5·809 MeV level. Angular distributions are compared with the DWBA and Hauser-Feshbach calculations. Satisfactory agreement is obtained for most of the levels. An attempt is made to explain the angular distribution leading to the excitation of the 4·078 MeV level as a two-step process. |
