| Abstract: | When the quantum electromagnetic field be in its vacuum state, still its field quantities have the "vacuum fluctuation". With a concise way this paper demonstrates the origin of this quantum fluctuation and calculates its effect on 2(()~2S_(1/2)) and 2(()~2P_(1/2)) energy levels of hydrogen atom--Lamb shift. |
