Fermi momentum in an electron fluid

Abstract:The Fermi momentum of an electron fluid with Coulomb interaction is determined as a function of density and temperature. Due to the many body interaction, the actual Fermi momentum decreases withr s faster than the case without interaction, wherer s is the electron radius measured in the units of the Bohr radius. This depression effect is enhanced at lower temperatures.
