| Abstract: | Microwave assisted organic synthesis is one of the latest organic synthesis technologies developed in the 1980s'. The mechanism and characteristics of microwave heating are introduced generally. Then the application of microwave radiation to the preparation of chitosan and the derivatives are reviewed. |
