| Abstract: | The title refers to Cauty?s example (Cauty, 1994 3]) of a metric vector space which is not an absolute retract. It is shown that Cauty?s space can be refined to the effect that the completion of the refined space can be isomorphically embedded as a subspace of an F-space which itself is an absolute retract. |
