Abstract: | The field produced by a harmonic point source of normal force in a plate with resonators is studied. The origin of the force is encircled with a ring of closely spaced identical monopole-dipole resonators responsive to both the displacement and tilt of the plate. For these resonators, parameters are determined that ensure the complete absorption of the divergent cylindrical bending wave generated in the plate by the point source of normal force. |
