Characteristics of hydrogen and carbon monoxide adsorption on supported rhodium-containing bimetallic catalysts

Abstract:The methods of temperature-programmed desorption and microcalorimetry were used to determine the kinetic and thermodynamic characteristics of H2 and CO adsorption on the surface of rhodium in bimetallic catalysts. The relationship between the chemical composition of the catalysts studied, electronic state of Rh, and parameters of the adsorption processes was determined.Translated from Teoreticheskaya i éksperimental'naya Khimiya, Vol. 31, No. 2, pp. 114–119, March–April, 1995.
