Abstract: | Summary Complexes ofN-benzamido-N-benzoyl-thiocarbamide (HBBTC) with CoII, NiII, CuII, ZnII, CdII and UO22+ have been prepared and characterized on the basis of elemental analyses, molar conductance, magnetic moment and spectral (visible, i.r.) studies. I.r. spectra show that HBBTC behaves in a bidentate and/or tridentate manner. Different stereochemistries are proposed for CoII, NiII and CuII complexes on the basis of spectral and magnetic studies. |
