| Abstract: | The Green's function analysis and the comprehensive expressions for the potential constants for planar XY3-type molecules given by earlier authors have been made use of in studying the elliptical behaviour of the symmetry force fields with the mixing parameter for Boron trihalides and the force constants derived from the ellipses are discussed. |
