摘 要: | 提出了一种激光测高仪光电探测器的接收性能分析算法,对APD探测器接收特性进行分析。该算法使用近似分布函数来模拟APD的输出,推导出虚警率与阈值门限和倍增因子三者之间的函数关系,找出虚警率、阈值和增益之间的最佳结合点。实验结果表明:根据该方法设计的激光测高仪APD接收电路,使得探测概率有很大提高,探测器信噪比达到最大值。

Receiver Characteristics of APD in Laser Altimeter |

Abstract: | To analyze the receiver characteristics of Laser Altimeters with Avalanche Photodiodes, A nearly exact analysis algorithm has been developed for APD photo detector. This method uses the approximate distribution function to simulate the output of APD, obtains the relationship among false detect probability, threshold and APD gain, and finds out the best combination of the three. Theory analysis and the experiments results show that the APD receiver circuit based on the nearly exact analysis owns a great improvement in detect probability and a maximum value of detector’s Signal-To-Noise. |
