| Abstract: | The dissociation yield of UF6 excited at 380 nm is studied on varying the pressure and the mass of a collisional monoatomic partner. It is found that dissociation is collision-induced and that the dissociation yield increases with larger collision partners. An existing kinetic model of excited-state dynamics is discussed in the light of our dissociation data. |
