Abstract: | Unimolecular and collision-induced dissociations of ArN+2 producedby electron impact ionization (ArN+2 → Ar+ and ArN+2 → N+2) were investigated quantitatively using a double-focusing sector type mass spectrometer. Information gained is relevant for the detection efficiency of clusters and for the development of appropriate theoretical fragmentation models. |
