| Abstract: | Products of the N2(A) + O2 reaction were measured in a discharge-flow reactor. N2O accounts for only (2 ± 0.5)% of the reaction, contrary to recent reports, and O-atoms for 165 ± 10)% if N2(A) is quantitatively produced from Ar3 with excess N2 This assumption is examined and specific N2(A) + O2 rate parameters are estimated. |
