Abstract:
The numerical integration method is applied to the “proximity effect” in transitions of N-heterocyclics The results are similar to those given by the quantum statistical mechanical (QSM) method and show that vibronically active out-of-plane bending modes may be the dominant accepting modes. An advantage which this method may have over QSM is pointed out.
