| Abstract: | Summary The rate constants for the polymerization of thirteen alkoxystyrenes at 100° were determined, and it was found that the size of the alkoxy group affects the rate of polymerization only in the case of o-alkoxystyrenes and has no effect on the rate of polymerization of p-alkoxystyrenes. |
