Tris-hexafluoropropyl-2-ates de terres rares

Tris-hexafluoro-2-propoxides of yttrium, lanthanum, neodymium and erbium have been prepared, by the ammonia method, directly from the hydrated rare earth chlorides, dehydrated in situ by trimethyl orthoformate. The compounds are not volatile.
