Abstract: | Abstract In the course of studies of the layered intrusion Kiwakka about 70 samples of rocks and minerals have been investigated. The oxydation reagent ClF3 was used to extract oxygen from the samples. The obtained δ18O-values show a significant differentiation of the intrusion itself in dependence of its petrographic composition. The conclusion can be drawn that the intrusion has formed under conditions of a closed system and that the magmatic fluid does not contain meteoric water, possibly. |
