Abstract: | The nonsuppressed anion chromatography with indirect UV-detection is demonstrated as a suitable method for the trace-analysis in the secondary water system of nuclear power stations. Coated silica-based reversed phase material was used as ion exchanger. This material has a high chromatographic efficiency and selectivity. The used hardware allows the determination of chloride and sulfate with a detection limit of 0.8 ppb and a relative standard deviation of 20%. |
