Catalytic Tritiation of Cardiac Glycosides |

| Abstract: | With tritium gas acting upon the solutions of cardio-active unsaturated steroid lactones in the presence of catalysts, there results a mixture of labelled parent compounds and labelled dihydroderivates. The influence of various catalysts upon transformation speed and radiochemical yield ratio of exchange and addition products has been investigated. A method rendering possible preparative separation of the obtained cardenolides and cardanolides labelled with tritium is described. |
