| Abstract: | The aim of the paper is to study the subalgebra structure of the classical Lie algebra.By the matrix method the paper determines over-algebras of gl(n, R) in sp(2n, R), o(2n, R) and o(2n + 1, R) for R a commutative ring with identity. |
