The Ideal Property and Traces |

| Abstract: | We prove a characterization of the ideal property for a large class of C*–algebras in terms of vanishing conditions for the finite traces on the algebra. An application of this result to a class of inductive limit C*–algebras (GAH algebras) is also given. |
