Screened Forces between two Positive Ions in an Electron Bath

The force between two ions imbedded in a hot and dense electron gas is studied using classical Molecular Dynamics with a regularized Coulomb potential. It is found to be well represented by the Debye form but with a screening length that differs from the Debye length except at weak coupling.
