Diastereoselective addition of γ-methoxy-allylboronates to aldehydes

The E- and Z-γ-methoxy-allylboronates $\text{1}$ and $\text{3}$ add cleanly to aldehydes to give diastereoselectively the adducts $\text{2}$ and $\text{4}$.
