| Abstract: | A calcium channel blocker,gallopamil hydrochloride,was synthesized from 2-(3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl) acetonitrile and 2-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)-N-methylethylamine by nucleophilic substitution and salt forming reaction.The structure was characterized by 1H NMR and MS. |
