| Abstract: | The review considers recent advances in using diethanolamine (DEA) in the synthesis of amides, polymerization reactions, and synthesis of heterocycles, crown ethers, Mannich bases, and ionic liquids. Biological activity of DEA and its derivatives is also reviewed. |
