Abstract: | The applications of digital and analog computers to problems in thermal analysis are reviewed. All of the applications are of a passive type in which there is no significant computer control of the experiment. Techniques discussed include thermogravimetry (TG), differential thermal analysis (DTA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), gas evolution analysis (GEA), and mass spectrometric thermal analysis (MTA). |
