Ground and γ-vibrational bands in even Os isotopes (A = 182–188) studied by (α, χnγ) and (p, χnγ) reactions

Abstract:	Gamma rays following ¹⁸²W(α, 2n)¹⁸⁴Os, ¹⁸⁴W(α, 2n)¹⁸⁶Os, ¹⁸⁶W(α, 2n)¹⁸⁸Os, ¹⁸⁵Re (p, 2n)¹⁸⁴Os, ¹⁸⁵Re(p, 4n)¹⁸²Os, ¹⁸⁷Re(p, 2n)¹⁸⁶Os and ¹⁸⁷Re(p, 4n)¹⁸⁴Os reactions have been measured to study the ground and γ-vibrational bands in even Os isotopes (A = 182–188). In addition to the ground-state levels the γ-vibrational bands have been identified up to the 5⁺ members. The K = 4 band head is proposed in ¹⁸⁶Os and ¹⁸⁸Os.
