Abstract: | The thermal diffusivity of liquid gallium was measured by the laser flash technique at temperatures from 45 to 512° C. By using values from the literature for the specific heat, density, and electrical conductivity, the present measurements were found to be in reasonable agreement with a temperature-independent Lorenz ratio equal to the Sommerfeld value. |
