Abstract: | Infrared radiation associated with switching in Boron single crystal has been detected and analyzed. Time correlation between switching and radiation events, spectral distribution of the radiation as well as its intensity as a function of current and temperature are reported. All the observed features suggest that recombination processes are the origin of this phenomenon and give information on the postswitching conduction mechanism of Boron. |
