| Abstract: | Emission spectra have been investigated in GaSe at 80 K under nitrogen laser excitation. In the case of intense excitation, an additional broad band appears at 5970 Å, and is considered to be due to an exciton-exciton collision process. This process leads to stimulated emission. |
