| Abstract: | The bound state energy associated with N in GaP is calculated using a model in which the impurity potential is represented by a screened local pseudopotential. Results based on a first principle free ion nitrogen pseudopotential are compared with those based on a screened empirical model potential of nitrogen from the GaN complex. |
