Interaction between disinclinations in nematic liquid crystals |

| Abstract: | The forces of interaction between disinclinations in nematic liquid crystals as well as between a disinclination and a wall are calculated on the basis of the elastic theory of Oseen and Frank under the assumption K11 = K33. |
