Ion heating by drift two stream instability in a quasi-neutral electron beam |

| Abstract: | In a quasi-neutral electron beam the drift two stream instability is observed. It is shown that the ion temperature perpendicular to a magnetic field depends strongly on the amplitude of the instability. |
