| Abstract: | The asphericity of 3d-electrons was measured as a function of temperature in some f.c.c. ferromagnetic Co alloys by means of the polarized neutron technique. The asphericity, as measured by the population of the eg and t2g sub-levels, was found to be almost independent of temperature. Simple models failed to explain the data. |
