Annihilation rates of positrons on aromatic molecules |

| Abstract: | We have measured positron annihilation rates for a selection of hydrocarbon molecules based on six carbon atoms, including substituted benzenes. These measurements illustrate the importance of molecular symmetry in determining the annihilation rate. |
