Unitarity bounds on angular distribution in multiparticle production II

Upper bounds which follow from unitarity are derived for the angular distribution of the detected particle C in the inclusive process AB → C + anything at a finite energy, in terms of the corresponding elastic amplitudes (a) for a fixed value of the forward inelastic cross section and (b) for a fixed value of the total inelastic cross section for the production of C. In comparison with the pp → p + anything data at 24 GeV/c, some improvement on previous bounds is observed.
