Abstract:A novel C-glycosylanthocyanin was isolated from the flowers of Tricyrtis formosana cultivar Fujimusume, and its structure was elucidated to be 8-C-β-d-glucopyranosylcyanidin 3-O-(6-O-malonyl)-β-d-glucopyranoside by chemical and spectroscopic methods.
