| Abstract: | Optically pure α-trifluoromethylated aziridinyl anions react with various electrophiles to give the corresponding optically pure 2-trifluoromethyl-2-substituted aziridines, which are general synthetic precursors for optically pure α-amino-α-trifluoromethylated compounds, such as trifluoromethylated α/β-amino acids, in good yields. |
