Indole Alkaloids from the Whole Plants of Ervatamia officinalis

Three new ervatamine‐type indole alkaloids, 6‐oxo‐16,20‐episilicine ( 1 ), 16,20‐episilicine ( 2 ), and 6,16‐didehydro‐20‐episilicine ( 6 ), along with seven known alkaloids, were isolated from the whole plants of Ervatamia officinalis. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods.
