| Abstract: | A new series of binuclear lanthanide complexes with bis acetylacetone ethylenediimine has been prepared for the first time. These compounds have the general formula Ln 2L 3Cl 6.8H 2O, where Ln=La, Sm, Eu, Gd, Ho, Er, Tm,and Yb; L=bis acetylacetone ethylenediimine. All the complexes have been characterised by elementary analysis, IR, UV Vis, 1H NMR, and molar conductance measurements. |
